ActLocal 2017

What is ActLocal?

In November of 2017, over 1000 organizers and leaders in 13 different cities came together for a day of local power building including workshops, trainings, and network building.

ActLocal was developed in partnership between Wall-of-Us and the Action Group Network and is supported by a wide-ranging coalition of established and new progressive organizations including the Daily Kos, Center for American Progress, Assemble, Action Together Network, Together We Will, The People’s Supper, OFA, RISE Stronger and 50+ more.

In each location, the events were designed and led by local leaders representing on the ground organizations, chapters, and groups across the country, including LA Forward, 159 Georgia Together, The Greater New Orleans Housing Alliance, Wyoming Equality, Action for a Better Tomorrow, Southland Resistance, as well as local chapter leaders of the Women’s March, RISE Stronger, OFA, Together We Will, Solidarity Sundays, and Indivisible.
